SenNet Spring Meeting

June 10-12, 2026

 

SenNet will host the “Cell-ebration of Scientific Accomplishments” meeting in person on June 10-12, 2026 at The Watergate Hotel located in Washington, DC. The meeting will enable funded members to meet with one another in-person and over Zoom, and will include a keynote, presentations, networking opportunities, and engaging breakout sessions. 

This meeting will act as a celebration and summary of the research and development performed during SenNet Phase 1. A working agenda can be found here.

  • Dates: Wednesday, June 10, through Friday, June 12, 2026.
  • Times: This is a 2.5-day meeting, so please plan to attend from approximately 7:30 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday/Thursday, and 7:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday.
  • Location: The Watergate Hotel.
  • Who should attend? All projects with an active SenNet award are expected to be represented.

Do I need to register?

You must register to attend the meeting. Meeting registration can only be accessed through the SenNet Members Portal.

Can I attend virtually?

Yes, please indicate if you’d like to attend virtually on the registration form.

What are my accommodation options?

The meeting will be held at The Watergate Hotel. There is a hotel block reserved for meeting attendees.

How do I get to The Watergate Hotel?

The Watergate Hotel is located at 2650 Virginia Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20037, roughly 5 miles (15–20 minutes) from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Taxis or ride-shares will be available, in addition to the Blue/Orange/Silver Metro lines from DCA to Foggy Bottom-GWU station, which is a short walk away from the hotel. What are the parking options?

Onsite overnight valet parking is available for guests for $65/night. Nearby alternative overnight lots include The Watergate 600 Garage and the 2200 Pennsylvania Ave. NW Garage.
